C-AE 015 HAND DYE CUSTOM FABRIC
You will learn and play with colorful techniques for making your own hand-dyed fabrics. Absorb the basics involved in dyeing cotton using fiber reactive dyes. Explore color mixing, over-dyeing, value gradations, gradations between colors, and play with various techniques to achieve fascinating visual textures. Enhance any of your textile projects with your one-of-a-kind fabric. Some art supplies will be provided. Students are welcome to bring their own materials.
